I completed a library tutorial, why haven't I received my certificate?

Answer

There are several library tutorials available to help you build your information literacy skills. Your instructor may assign one or more tutorials, and ask you to share the certificate that you receive. If you completed a tutorial, and haven't received your certificate, here's what you can do:

Check your score

Each tutorial has a quiz at the end, and you have to earn a high enough score on that quiz (usually 100%). You can retake the quizzes as many times as you need.

Take the final quiz

Some of the tutorials also have practice quizzes, so make sure you are completing the entire tutorial and the assessment at the end. After you finish a practice quiz, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the "Next" button to continue with the module.

Wait one business day

Most of the quizzes are graded automatically, but two tutorials are graded manually by librarians. They should be graded within one business day after you submit the quiz. The manually-graded tutorials are Conflicting Information and Open Minded Researcher.
