I'm not a Fresno State student. Can I still use the library?

Answer

Yes! The library is open to the public, and anyone can use most of our materials within the building.

  • After 8 pm, access to the library building is restricted to Fresno State students, faculty, and staff.

  • Public access computers are available for patrons to access most of our electronic resources within the library. Use of public access computers requires a guest pass and is limited to two hours per day. Please contact circulation at 559.278.2551 for more information on public access computers.

  • Visitors can create a 24-hour guest account to use Fresno State wi-fi. See these instructions from Technology Services, at the bottom of the page under "Wireless Services".

  • If you're looking for a quiet study space, see locations here.

  • The Library offers a Community Borrower card for a small fee, which allows limited borrowing privileges. See Community Borrower Policies for more information.

  • The Library has reciprocal borrowing agreements with several other area universities. Contact Circulation at 559.278.2551 for more information.
