I'm having trouble logging in or getting access to resources from off-campus. What should I do?

Answer

Most of the library's electronic resources are available to Fresno State affiliated users when off-campus. Alumni, community borrowers, and guests need to be within the library to access electronic resources.

When you try to access an electronic resource (such as a database or ebook) from off campus, you will be prompted to enter your Fresno State username and password.

Library login screen

After logging in, you will be able to access our electronic resources.

If you are having problems logging in:

  1. Make sure you are using your correct username and password. If your email address is "awesomestudent@mail.fresnostate.edu," use just "awesomestudent" as the username, rather than the full email address.
  2. If necessary, reset your password.
  3. If you are still unable to log in, contact our Circulation Desk at 559.278.2551 or library-access-services@mail.fresnostate.edu.
  4. If you are able to log in, but you have trouble with access to a particular database or other resource, please email eproblems@library.fresnostate.edu. You will receive a response within 1-2 business days.
