How do I find a specific thesis or dissertation?
Answer
To find a specific thesis or dissertation, enter the title in the OneSearch box on the library homepage. If you get a lot of results, it may be helpful to choose "Theses and Dissertations" from the Resource Type filter.
Theses and dissertations will normally have a link for "Online access" or "Full text available." Those from Fresno State may have location information for print or microfilm copies.
If you can't find the thesis or dissertation in OneSearch, it may be available in a database. From the library homepage, choose Databases by Subject, then Theses and Dissertations. The best starting point is Dissertations and Theses Full Text [ProQuest].
Most dissertations and theses will be available in full text. If not, you can try requesting the thesis/dissertation through InterLibrary Loan.
