How can I access theses?
For theses published before 2019:
Visit the library webpage at library.csub.edu, and click "Advanced Search" in the OneSearch box.
Select “Books & Media (CSUB)” at the top of the search box
In the first search box, enter “California State University, Bakersfield”
In the second search box, enter the subject you are searching for and the word "thesis"
Click “Search”
For theses and dissertations published in 2019 or later:
- Visit "Dissertations &Theses Global" in the Database A - Z list.
- Click "Advanced Search"
- Toward the bottom of the page, click the link "Look up Universities/institutions" near the University/institutions search box and search for "Bakersfield."
- Select "California State University, Bakersfield" from the list, and click "Add to Search."
- After the Look up box closes, click "Search" to locate all CSUB theses and dissertations published 2019 or later.
