When will Maritime faculty and staff gain access to the Cal Poly databases available through Kennedy Library ?
The two libraries already share some databases because they are provided through the CSU's systemwide Electronic Core Collection. Kennedy Library subscriptions to other databases will be made available to all Maritime user groups on a rolling basis as subscriptions renew before July 1,202 and as different user groups are equipped with Cal Poly usernames and passwords. Maritime faculty, staff, MPPs and student employees will be first to have full access once they have Cal Poly usernames and passwords. Maritime campus access to the New York Times will end at the end of 2025, but the Solano County Library's New York Times subscription offers online access.
