I am doing research on a fast food company for my English class.

Answer

How do I find controversial information in a fast food company's history (McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, Burger King, Wendy's, Carl's Jr.)?

On the Library's website, click on Databases, and use either Academic Search Premier or Proquest Databases. You can use either database to search for the name of the company, plus any of the following keywords: controversy, lawsuit, ban, boycott, or problem.

By its very nature, the Opposing Viewpoints database is a good source of controversy on any topic. Search for the name of your company, and you will see a variety of news, magazine, and research journal articles as well as audio recordings about your company.

The International Directory of Company Histories   is a good source of information about almost any large company, from its founding up to current times. Click on "Connect to online resource" to use the e-book edition, and search for the name of your fast food company. Just about every company will have some item of controversy in its history.
