How do I find a company's market share?

Answer

1. Use the database called Market Share Reporter.  It is available from the Marketing Databases page.

In the Search Within Series box, type the name of a company, product, or service.

Market Share Reporter
2. Use the IBIS world database, also available from the Marketing Databases page.  This database covers over 700 industries and usually has a market share bar graph for each. Start by typing your keyword in the search box. IBISWorld

When you get to a single report on an industry, click on "Competitive Landscape" for an overview of market share and then on "Major Companies" for a market share bar graph and descriptions of the major companies.
