What is Web of Science (WOS) and how do I find it?

Answer

Web of Science (WOS or WoS) is a database that provides seamless access to 3 important indexes: Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index.

Connect to Web of Science or one of the three component databases from the Database & article search pages. You'll find WoS and the three component databases listed on the A-Z list and in many of the subject lists.

There is a tutorial for Cited Reference Searching in the Web of Science here: https://clarivate.libguides.com/woscc/citedreference.
