What is Web of Science (WOS) and how do I find it?

Answer

Web of Science (WOS or WoS) is a database that provides seamless access to 3 important indexes: Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. WoS also supports cited reference searching.

Connect to Web of Science or one of the three component databases from the Library’s Databases page. You'll find WoS and the three component databases listed in the full A-Z databases list and in many of the Subject lists.

Tutorials on How to do a Cited Reference Search in WoS are available at the Web of Science Training channel on YouTube.
