How do I find ASME journals? ASME conference papers?

Answer

The Cal Poly Pomona Library currently has electronic subscriptions to the ASME journals. Our subscription provides online access from 2000 to the present. Prior to our current electronic subscription we had print subscriptions to most, but not all, of the ASME journals.

The OneSearch will have the most complete information about the ASME journals - what years are available in print, what years are available online, etc.  Use OneSearch to find journal title- click on Advanced Search and change Any Field to Title

Electronic editions of ASME journals are available through the Library's ASME Journals database. You can browse tables of contents or search within individual journals. If you connect from off campus you will have to provide your BroncoName and BroncoPassword.

WARNINGS:

You can search the entire contents of the ASME Digital Library website but you need to be aware that we do not have access to all of the content.

  • Our ASME subscription does not include the ASME Conference Proceedings. If you need an ASME conference paper, submit a Document Delivery request.
  • Many of the ASME journals have online content going back to the 70s. Our subscription only provides access to online journal content published in 2000 or later. If you need an earlier article check OneSearch to see if we have a print copy or submit a Document Delivery request.
