Can I check out books if I am not a Cal Poly Pomona student?
Answer
People who are not Cal Poly Pomona students can check out books. If you are affiliated with the university in one of the following ways, the library will grant you courtesy borrower status:
- Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Associates
- Cal Poly Pomona Associates
- Chancellor's Associates
- other CSU Alumni Associates
- Friends of the Cal Poly Pomona Library
- University Corporate Associates
- Parent Family Association and Spouses/Domestic Partners of Cal Poly Pomona Faculty and Staff
If you are a currently enrolled Mt. San Antonio College student, or an enrolled student in some other Colleges or Universities (including California State Universities) you qualify for reciprocal borrowing privileges.
If you are not part of any of these groups, you can register for a visitor account. For an annual nonrefundable fifty dollar registration fee (payable by check or credit card only), you will be granted borrowing privileges. Visitor Borrowers DO NOT have Special Materials or Items privileges, including Document Delivery, media checkout, remote database, e-book, or e-journal access.
