How Do I find ERIC documents?

Answer

When you perform a search in the ERIC database (also available from the Education subject of our Databases page), you will often find items identified with a number beginning with an "ED". These are Eric Documents. Do not confuse these with the ones identified with a number beginning with "EJ", which are journal articles. Eric documents (ED) are not peer reviewed and are not journal articles.

To get a copy of an "ED" item, click on the link that says "Full Text from ERIC":

To get the full-text, click on the link that says “Download full text”:

If no "Full Text from ERIC" link appears in the original record at all, these items might be available by request via Document Delivery.
